health and fitness are important at Trinity Gardens School.
In addition to the specialist Physical Education Program offered
at the school detailed in Specialist Subjects there are many
other sporting opportunities.
Sports
Day
Sports Day is an annual event at the school
when all classes participate in a variety of events. Read

SASPSASA
The South Australian State Primary Schools
Amateur Sports Association, (SAPSASA) works within the Department
of Education and Children’s Services for the delivery
of School Sport. SAPSASA is supported by the Office for Recreation
& Sport. Trinity Gardens School is involved in SAPSASA
through rugby, cross country running, athletics, netball,
soccer, and swimming.
Swimming
As part of the school curriculum, it is an
expectation that all students are involved in swimming lessons
for one week during the year. Students travel to a local swimming
pool and are taught by qualified swimming instructors.
Extra
Curricular Sport
In addition to the school curriculum, there
are many opportunities to be involved in team sports as extra-curricular
activities. Depending on student interest, the school offers
several out of school hours sports.
